One-time project
I write your site from scratch in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, based on what your business needs. It isn't a template with your logo dropped in.
A typical small-business site with home, services, about, and contact pages takes about a week from our first call to launch. Bigger projects like online stores, booking systems, or custom features take longer, and I quote those separately.
We'll talk about your business, who your customers are, and what you want the site to do. Then I design around that.
I design for phones first, then tablets and desktops. Nobody should have to pinch and zoom to read your site.
Lean code loads quickly. I don't pile on plugins, extra scripts, or giant background images.
Every page gets a proper title, a meta description, clean markup, and alt text on images. That covers the basics, and you don't need a $200/month "SEO package" to get it.
Messages from your contact form get saved to your own database instead of going through a third-party service.
I'll point your domain, set up hosting, and show you around the finished site so you know how it all works.
How it works
Here's how a typical project goes.
We talk about your business, what the site needs to do, your timeline, and your budget. It takes 20 to 30 minutes, and I won't try to sell you anything.
I send you a flat-fee quote. If it works for you, we settle on what's included and when it'll be done, and I get started. I don't bill by the hour.
I send updates as I go, so you can weigh in along the way instead of seeing everything for the first time at the end.
You look over the finished site and tell me what to change. Small tweaks are included. If you want to add something bigger, I'll quote it separately.
When you're happy with it, we point your domain at the new site, it goes live, and I show you how everything works.
Optional monthly service
This part is optional. You're welcome to host the site yourself or with any provider you like. If you'd rather not deal with it, I'll take care of it.
Your site runs on a fast, dependable server, and I handle all the setup.
HTTPS is set up, software stays updated, and I keep an eye on security.
Need to change your hours, swap a photo, or fix a typo? Small changes like that are included, so you won't get billed per edit.
Call or text me. You won't be filing a support ticket. You'll be talking to the person who built your site.
It's month-to-month with no annual contract, so you can cancel any time.
