A little about me and how I work.
I'm a web developer in Brevard County, Florida. I started Surf's Web Design after seeing the same thing over and over. Local businesses were stuck choosing between an expensive agency and a do-it-yourself site builder, and neither one was a great fit.
A good website should load fast, work on phones, and look like your business. It shouldn't cost $5,000 or take six months. It also shouldn't be a Wix template with your logo swapped in.
I build every site by hand in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, based on what that business needs. I don't use page builders, and I don't make things more complicated than they need to be.

My approach
Templates are fine for a hobby site. For your business, you want something that fits your brand, not a theme thousands of other companies bought too.
People leave slow sites, and every extra second of loading loses a few more of them. Custom code is a lot lighter than what site builders put out, so your pages load faster.
I'll show you how your site works, how to make simple changes yourself, and who to call if something breaks. You shouldn't need a developer every time you want to fix a typo.
